These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Viso's visual AI tutoring platform ("Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, subscribing to our Service, or using Viso, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Viso is an AI-powered visual tutoring platform that provides:

• Interactive STEM visualizations (calculus, physics, chemistry, etc.)
• AI-generated explanations and derivations
• Real-time 3D rendering using React Three Fiber
• Chat-based interface for STEM questions

3. Account Registration

Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Viso
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Account Security

• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Do not share your account credentials with others
• We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account access

4. Subscription and Payment

Plans

• Viso Basic: $19.99/month
• Viso Pro: $24.99/month

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
• You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• No refunds for partial billing periods (see Refund Policy)

Price Changes

• We reserve the right to modify subscription prices
• Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance
• Continued use after price change constitutes acceptance

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or access our AI models directly
• Not use the Service to generate content that violates academic integrity policies
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Not engage in harmful, abusive, or malicious activities
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

• You retain ownership of prompts and questions you submit
• You grant us a license to use your content to provide and improve our Service
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you submit

Our Content

• All Service content, including AI models, visualizations, and software, is owned by Viso
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission
• Our trademarks, logos, and brand names are our property

7. Acceptable Use

Prohibited Activities

• Using the Service to violate academic integrity (cheating, plagiarism)
• Attempting to extract or scrape our AI models or training data
• Using automated tools to abuse or overload our systems
• Impersonating others or providing false information
• Transmitting viruses, malware, or harmful code

8. Service Availability

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time
• We are not liable for service interruptions or downtime

9. Termination

By You

• You may cancel your account at any time
• Cancellation does not relieve you of payment obligations for the current billing period

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in illegal activities
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Abuse or misuse the Service

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Viso is provided "as is" and "as available"
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not liable for loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Viso harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights

12. Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India
• Any disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation
• If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration

13. Changes to Terms

• We may modify these Terms at any time
• Material changes will be communicated via email or Service notification
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
• If you disagree with changes, you may cancel your subscription
